Meet Emme. Her beginning was no easy one. From early medical concerns with Emme to a c-section two hours away (due to our post’s isolated location) the day of our scheduled maternity session, this new mother and father stayed strong. It was a few hours before the maternity session when I received a message from Emme’s Mom that her water broke. A whirlwind of emotions was definitely in the air for both parties involved. As she and her husband were prepping Emme’s arrival, I was excited yet nervous because I knew what it was like to be in labor early. It was bittersweet missing the maternity session, but at least I knew I’d get to meet baby girl soon at her newborn session!
This tiny, sweet girl wore a onesie with her Daddy’s nickname “Lego” for this session. It’s the little things that make the biggest impact because it creates a connection. Little moments, little keepsakes, and any other sweet little ways that make us feel connected to our parents. Emme’s journey has just started and I enjoy seeing her grow. From her teeny newborn self to a chunkier baby, Emme is a beaut inside and out! Welcome to the world little one!
